Petrom sells to Crimbo Gas International its subsidiary of Petrom LPG
Petrom, the largest oil and gas producer in Southeastern Europe, sold 99.99% of its shares in the subsidiary Petrom SA to Crimbo Gas LPG International, as the company announced on Friday.
Currently, Petrom LPG has about 260 employees. This transaction has no material impact on the financial situation of Petrom.
Petrom is the largest oil and gas group in Southeastern Europe, with activities in the business segments of Exploration and Production, Gas & Power, Refining & Marketing. Group consolidated its position in the oil market in South East following a comprehensive process of modernization and efficiency, for whose implementation investments of over 7.7 billion euros were made in last in seven years.

Petrom sells the subsidiary Petrom LPG to Crimbo Gas International
Petrom will leave the bottling and distribution of LPG market by selling 99.99% share participation in the subsidiary Petrom LPG SA to Crimbo Gas International, according to a company press release, issued on Friday, to AGERPRES.
Petrom will continue to manufacture and sell LPG cylinders and LPG auto gas through gas stations. The company will further provide LPG gas to the company object of the transaction and this company will provide LPG cylinders and gas to OMV Petrom Marketing SRL.

Petrom OMV sold its subsidiary Petrom LPG to company Crimbo Gas International, emerging from the LPG market of bottling and distribution, announced on Friday the oil and gas producer, without specifying the amount of the transaction.
"The decision taken by the Supervisory Board of Petrom corresponds with the strategy of Petrom and OMV portfolio R & M optimization to improve efficiency. Parties have agreed the confidentiality of the transaction value. Completion is subject to the prior approval of the Competition Council," says Petrom in a statement.
